RCA VICS-1108 PLUM/SILVER STEREO
FIRST EDITION: 1S/1S INDIANOPOLIS
EXCELLENT CONDITION
You are looking at an authentic and highly desirable vinyl Lp record album on quality vinyl at 33 1/3 rpm and is not to be missed! No collector needs to be told that this is an outstanding, and highly collectible record. This is an RCA Living Stereo record. Living Stereo VICS records are some of the best sounding records ever made with many of these often appearing on Harry Pearson's The Absolute Sound (TAS) list. These Living Stereo VICS records can rival and compete with anything ever made by any other classical record label and are probably even harder to find because they haven’t been replicated.
This is a beautiful copy of VICS 1108 which is the same as the uber-rare and very hard to find LSC 2449 Gounod Faust and Bizet Carmen conducted by Alexander Gibson. It is the early plum/silver copy with the earliest 1S/1S Indianapolis stampers, which are the same stampers used on the rare and coveted original. One of the greatest of the original Living Stereo records. An Analog Paradise recommended recording.
Condition of Vinyl: Excellent, but unfortunately not Near Mint. I am the original owner, and this LP has been well cared-for, but it's not perfect. There are three light scratches on Side 1 that shouldn't affect the quality of the sound. Side 2 is perfect.
