Description
Very rare and hard to find original Melodiya EMI first stereo press on the original red label, ASD 2448. Matrix numbers 1G / 3G and first mothers (1), fourth and twelfth stampers (M and GR).
Pressed in 1968 - original cover is printed in England by Garrod And Lofthouse Ltd.
Visually the LP is in excellent condition, just some light storage marks on the vinyl, labels are perfect -
the previous owner was meticulous in his care of his record collection.
On play bothe sides grade VG with a little crackling here and therre and a few light to moderate ticks and pops. On side 2 there are a few more ticks and one repeating for about 4 revolutions but again VG play throughout.
The cover is in very good condition with some light wear to the corners and the opening edge is a little feathered. There are a couple of patches of light staining on the carded rear and a small stamper mark, top right hand corner otherwise fine.
