Description

  • Crisp, clear playback on this extremely rare RCA Victor German original LP from the Bjarne Rostvold Trio “Tricrotism” (RCA Victor LPM 9955, Made In Germany stamped in dead wax).
  • The trio consists of Bjarne Rostvold (drums), Allan Botschinsky (trumpet) and Niels Henning Orsted Pederson (bass).
  • The tracklist is: Well, You Needn’t/Perhaps/Squeeze Me/Easy Living/Tricrotism/Green Sleeves/Ease It/S’Posin.
  • The vinyl has just a couple of light superficial marks and plays with crisp, clear fidelity and no surface noise worth mentioning. There is a slight edge warp but I played the LP using a very sensitive tone arm and the playback was not affected at all. I rate the vinyl at Near Mint Minus. The cover (see pictures) is basically sound with clear graphics and liner notes (in several languages including English). There is some light ring-wear and a few wrinkles. The seams have been reinforced/repaired with clear tape. I can detect some light wear under the tape on the bottom seam. A small tear at the cover opening has been repaired with clear tape. None of this detracts much from the overall attractiveness of the cover.
  • NO reserve with a $99 minimum bid for this very hard to find jazz classic.
  • I ship worldwide and will combine winning bids to save on postage (check out my other items).
  • In the US, the winning bidder pays choice of media mail ($4.00) or priority shipping (based on ZIP code). Airmail shipping and handling to Canada is $8.00. All other locations outside the US are $15.00.
  • NOTE: Due to the value of this item the winning bidder will be required to purchase some method of tracking which will be in addition to the shipping charges quoted above. Good luck!
