Black Chrome
Australia's God / We Are Tomorrow 7"
1970s
Oz Punk
Description
Obscure two track 7" single released by Adelaide punk four piece Black Chrome in 1978 (month unknown). Described in the Who's Who Of Australian Rock 1996 as "brilliant, tough melodic punk", this was the band's only release. This single has had only two owners in thirty years.
Condition
Comes in the original hand-stamped sleeve, with the original folded lyric insert. Sleeve is VG+, with no tears or repairs, but noticeable edge wear, ring wear and discolouration. The original owner has placed a small black cross in the top left hand corner of the rear sleeve. Hand-stamped labels show spindle wear on both sides, and there is a black cross on the label's a-side. Vinyl is VG+ and retains a nice shine, but has obvious marking from repeated handling. The numerous small / light scratches do not affect the single's audio quality, with only mild surface noise discernible. No skips, no jumps, no pops. Play loud!
