Black Death
Black Death is known to be the FIRST black(African American) metal group. They hail from Cleveland Ohio and are finally starting to get the recognition most death metal groups feel they deserve. The album is self labeled and is extremely RARE! Only 2000 copies were released to the public. This has been one of my prized possessions in my collection, but I have to let it go to buy hot rod parts.
Please do your internet searches regarding this album-it lists on another popular site for $400-600+. I have followed the value of this record for a year and it keeps increasing in value. Take your chance to add this one to your collection.
I am not a flipper or ebay record seller. In fact this is my first record listing. I will describe the best I can according to grading charts that can be found elsewhere on the internet.
The record itself is VG+. It shows signs of use with light scratches that cannot be felt with a fingernail. There is a light scratch at the beginning of the last track on side A that is audible, but it does not cause the record to skip. Overall in Very Good Plus condition.
Included is a BONUS 7" record that includes 2 additional tracks. It is in NM (Near Mint) condition. The generic white sleeve for the 7" does have writing on it.
The jacket is in VG+ condition also. Overall, the jacket is in excellent shape; however, it does show signs of use. There is very slight evidence of record ring wear that shows up more prominently in the pictures than face to face. There is one 3" crease on the back that barely shows up on the front of the cover. The cover is slightly warped but could probably be convinced to straighten up. The warp in the cover only is in the corners on the outside edges of the record.
The pictures seem to highlight certain areas and make the album appear to be in less favorable condition than I've stated. I had to remove a picture because the lighting makes it look like there are scratches on the record that aren't there. Even on the main picture of the sleeve, the lighting makes the jacket appear to be lighter color than it is and makes it look like there is much more wear than there actually is.

After careful consideration, I have decided to add that the record may be in Very Good condition rather than VG+. Of course, this could be purely subjective but I want the new owner to be happy with what they are getting. The record is still in the condition I have described above, but there is surface noise and snap, crackles and pop, as with any record. Someone could argue that this is record is less than VG+, so I do not want to mislead someone. I have over 700 records and a few different turntable systems, but this is the first time I've attempted to sell one.
