Black Flag - Damaged - SST Records & Unicorn Records 9502 - 1981 First Pressing w/ "Anti-Parent" Sticker - VG+
Black Flag's debut LP, with the Henry/Dez/Greg/Chuck/Robo lineup. Released November 1981.
Overall condition is VG+. Vinyl is VG+ with a few minor scuff marks and fingerprints. Sleeve is VG+ with some edge/corner wear and ring wear.
The iconic cover art, taken by punk photographer Ed Colver, depicts Henry putting his fist through a mirror. The effect was made by cracking the mirror with a hammer, while the "blood" on Rollins's wrist is a mixture of red ink and coffee.
Early copies were released with a sticker stating "As A Parent..., I Found It An Anti-Parent Record..." on the back of the jacket, covering up the MCA distribution logo.

MCA Records (with which Unicorn Records had a distribution deal) distribution chief Al Bergamo announced that the company would not distribute this record, stating: "I'm not the kind of guy who believes in burning books, but this record bothered me. As a parent with two children, I found it an anti-parent record, past the point of good taste. I listened to it all last weekend and it just didn't seem to have any redeeming social value."
"Damaged" was eventually released by Unicorn through an independent distributor. Later, after Unicorn's bankruptcy and almost two years of litigation during which Black Flag was forbidden to release any records, they re-released and distributed it through Greg Ginn's own SST Records.
This record cost Black Flag $8,000 to produce. 25,000 total pressed. Lyric sheet was available by mail (not included here).

Grading is subjective, I am not a professional dealer. I try to place myself in the position of the buyer and be as accurate as possible, listing any notable defects.
Shipping in US via USPS Priority Mail, it's a bit more expensive but you'll get it quicker with less likelihood of loss or damage. (The only shipments I've ever had "go missing" were sent Media Mail.) Shipping to other countries is via eBay International Shipping.
