Description
DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - 1st self titled LP. Complete early UK pressing with 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, Big swirl label, gate fold sleeve and Vertigo swirl inner dated 0970. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include insurance and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo VO 6 847 903 VTY YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen, some hairlines and brushing lines. Played all of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Plays not too far off EX. Music is generally clear, clean, vibrant and loud. It has a tick during most of the intro to "Black Sabbath" . Its a great LP and this is the best way to listen to it. Gate fold sleeve is in better than average shape . It is firm and square and has near moderate edge wear (moderate to bottom edge) , moderate corner wear and only light creasing. Pretty clean inside to gate fold. It has a small black sticker on the front sleeve near the vertigo logo- the sticker comes off but it has a small sticker removal mark underneath so you can keep it on or take it off. Swirl inner is in decent shape with light wear, no splits and biro and yellowing to both sides. . Poly is still fully attached. Really clean Vertigo swirl labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips. Decent sounding complete early UK pressing. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
