DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- 1st Self titled. Gatefold sleeve, 1Y1 and 2Y2 matrix and spaceship labels.. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo VO6 847 903 VTY YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen. Played passages of both sides of this today on my budget deck, decent deck is awaiting repair. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds VG or better. Music is generally clear and loud but with occasional ticks. Cover is firm and square and has moderate edgewear, cornerwear and light creasing. Very clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers. Top UK Copy of one of the best Lps ever... PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH and CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP.. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of surface sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
