UK BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE- IF YOU DONT WANT TO PAY THE CORRECT POSTAGE FOR THIS LOOK NO FURTHER. THIS AUCTION IS FOR 7 LPS NOT 1. I DONT AIM TO MAKE A PENNY FROM POSTAGE BUT I WONT LOSE OUT EITHER. UK POSTAGE IS £5.41 (£4.41 STANDARD PARCELS + £1 FOR CRUCIFORM AND STIFFENERS). This is a collection of 7 Black Sabbath Lps - all in near Ex condition. The vinyls are all very clean and most grade around EX. A few are closer to VG. Some will have the odd surface line none have deep scratches that affect play. There may be the odd click or crackle but again there is nothing significant to spoil your enjoyment of the music. The covers are also all around VG+ though odd one is a little better. They are all fully intact (except one of the inners- see below), no stickers, no sticker removal tears and no writing (unless clearly stated). Same goes for the labels- no writing or rips. All on NEMS records and UK pressings unless stated. BLACK SABBATH (1st)- NEL6002. PARANOID- NEL6003- A2/B2. Gatefold cover. SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH- WWA 005. A2/B2. EX gatefold cover that has a pull out 4 sided poster in (pictured- im not quite sure if it should have been in this- my own 1st press does not have it in). SABOTAGE (France)- NEL6018. VOL 4- NEL6005. A1/B1. Gatefold. (sticker removal mark on cover). HEAVEN AND HELL-VERTIGO 9102752. TECHNICAL ECSTACY- VERTIGO 9102750. With insert.IF YOU ARE AFTER A CLEAN COLLECTION OF EARLY SABBATH RELEASES THEN THESE ARE FOR YOU. MOST (6/7) ARE UK PRESSINGS TOO.! My experience with these is that they can sell right at the last minute the first week or go for a lot more the second week. The last 7 lp sabbath collection i put on at 19.99 had 15 people watching and none bid the first week. I relisted and it went for £34 the second week. What im saying is if you want this, bid early or you may not get a second chance. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH, HARD, HEAVY AND CLASSIC ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. APPLIES ONLY UP TO MAXIMUM OF 6 or 7 LPS WHEN ILL WEIGH AND GET EXACT COST BEFORE INVOICING. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System as follows:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN GOOD MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. As a few people have asked i ve added a photo of the back of the poster. It has definately been in a sabbath LP as you can see where it has been glued in. "All live shots by Steve Emberton" printed on bottom - might have seen this before in a "sold our soul for rock n roll" but cant be sure.
