Deep Sabbath? Black Purple? Purple Sabbath? Call it what you want, this album ROCKS!
Unfairly maligned for years after its release, “Born Again”, Black Sabbath’s first and only record with former Deep Purple singer Ian Gillan, has seen a justified resurgence and rise in esteem recently. When you listen to it you can hear why! Heavy, heavy tracks like the killer “Zero the Hero” and “Disturbing the Priest” sit along raw rockers like “Trashed” and “Digital Bitch.” This is the original 1983 US pressing on Warner Bros - not sure if it’s a first.
Condition of the LP is VG+. It’s in solid shape, plays great and sounds killer with just a few very minor pops. It could benefit from a good cleaning. The sleeve is also in VG+ shape. Very very minor age wear, some slight corner scuffs and a small cut out mark on bottom left. Original inner lyric sleeve is in VG. Have a look at the photos to see for yourself.
