Description
First UK pressing of Black Sabbath - Master of Reality Vertigo Swirl 6360 050, box cover and poster.
Box cover has wear, the ecorners and top and bottom flap seams have worn, exposing white cardboard. Laminate has rubbing wear, some creasing and lifting.
No original inner sleeve
Vinyl has lots of light marks/scuffs - plays with background noise that's more intrusive in quiet parts, some clicks in places - no skips when I played. I have added a recording of both sides of the LP to this listing to give an idea of how it plays - though it may sound better or worse on your system.
Poster seems to be an original matt 6 panel, but with condition issues! 'Black Sabbath' written twice on the reverse in pen. At some point in it's life, for reasons unknown, it has had holes punched in the middle section of the poster and all along the bottom edge. It looks like an attempt has been made to 'restore' it for framing, by punching more holes on the bottom edge of the poster, and grafting them onto the original middle section holes with scotch tape on the back, some of the grafted pieces of paper are lifting up a bit along the fold. The bottom 1.5cm has been folded (I guess to hide the bottom punch holes when framed) Poster weighs 39 grams, which I believe is in the range for an original (between 38 and 40 grams). Measures 27 X 18 Inches. No pin holes in corners!
