DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- Master Of Reality. 1st UK Vertigo swirl pressing with embossed laminated box, correct reverse swirl inner and matrix ending 1Y1/2Y1. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 050 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+/VG. Vinyl is clean but with a lot of hairlines and brushing lines. Played all of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Generally sounds G to VG. Has some ticks throughout, often repetitive but music remains prominent. Obviously its worse on "Orchid" and "Solitude" ". Ticks and background sound between tracks but no skips, sticks or jumps. Box cover is in reasonable shape. It is pretty firm and square and has moderate edge wear, corner wear and creasing. Area of wear to bottom of front which i have pictured. Previous owner has "touched in" corners but its only a very small area. Reverse swirl inner is an original with intact poly but does not have a lot more going for it than that. Inner has a name printed on it and cellotape to edges and one tear. Clean labels. No other writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
