Description
Superb first pressing copy of Sabbath's 1971 album, complete with its original poster (not a photocopy or Ukrainian reproduction!). The record has hardly been played and the box is in great shape. It would be hard to find a better copy at this starting price. The catalogue number is Vertigo 6360 050. Matrices are1Y//1 v 420 1 14/2Y//1 v 420 12.

Box Ex In great condition, light wear only and unflattened. There is some laminate lift to the edges.
Poster Ex In lovely condition, light handling wear only. Some light age spots on the reverse. No pin holes or 'blu tac' marks.
Labels Ex+/NM Almost like new - no spindle traces visible.
Inner VG+ Original polylined swirl bag. Some age spots and yellowing.
Record Visually Ex/Ex+, superb as-new shine to the vinyl. Just the faintest hairlines seen under a strong light. Plays beautifully with clear and powerful audio, with some crackle at times. The only fault I can find is a few short clicks on 'Solitude', although I can't see anything on the record which would cause this.

IMPORTANT! I have been reliably informed that although the poster is not a modern reproduction, it probably comes from a German copy of the LP. The German poster was larger than the UK one. Many apologies those who have bid for this LP already. Please feel free to cancel your bids.
