Here is the rarest U.S. issue Black Sabbath album! This LP is a very rare FIRST PRESSING of Black Sabbath’s 1971 album, “Master of Reality”. This is quite different from the vast majority of the pressings you’ll find. Most copies have four songs listed on each label, which match the song listings on the back cover… check your copy, and you most likely have this version. HOWEVER, the very first run of pressings featured several extra listings, giving names to several “sections” contained in those songs. Check out the pictures below. You’ll notice “After Forever” is listed as including “The Elegy”. The 45 seconds of feedback after “Children of the Grave” now has its own title, “The Haunting”. On Side 2, there is “Step Up” and later “Deathmask”, which is the intro to “Into The Void”. Also included with this rare LP is the original poster, which is a valuable item in its own right… most of these got hung on walls and lost over the years! The LP is in very nice shape, VG++ on one side and VG+ on the other. The poster is mint, and the LP cover is very nice as well. The cover is the “embossed letters” type. This is on the original green Warner Brothers label. These don’t come up on ebay often, so get one while you can!! Buyer pays $3.00 s/h in US. INTERNATIONAL BIDS WELCOME.
