Description
An original 1st pressing of MOR on the UK Vertigo Negative label. Matrix 1/1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in a box design cover with embossed lettering on the front. Also included is the original Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve - date coded to June 1971 - a month prior to first release. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In very nice condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with very good clarity. Great audio quality with even some of the quieter tracks playing clean e.g. Solitude. All we detected interference wise was a touch of static in a couple of tracks and very little else. This is a storming rendition of this Sabbath classic.
Cover (Vg+) Looks in great condition. The only important thing to bear in mind is the box shape is not perfectly at right angles - it has skewed a bit (as is common). On the face of it handling wear is reasonably minor. The embossed text on the front looks in excellent condition. Ditto the rear - very minor couple of creases that's all. Text on the spine is 100% readable and overall the cover still retains very good rigidity.
Inner (Vg) A bit of ageing and once 3 inch side split.
