Description
DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - Paranoid. Complete, original 1st UK pressing with 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, large swirl label, matt gate fold sleeve with Big Bear credit and Vertigo swirl inner dated 04/70. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include insurance and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 011 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G+/G+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen, a lot of light brushing lines and some hairlines. Played in its entirety tonight on my budget deck, Sits flat on the turntable. Plays through nicely without jumps and sticks. Music is loud and prominent throughout. "Planet Caravan" plays cleanly with only an occasional tick. "Hand Of Doom" has a trickle of background sound and some ticks in quiet parts but again music remains prominent. "Big Bear" gate fold sleeve is in decent shape . Very near to VG. It was sold to me graded as VG. It is firm and square and has near heavy edge wear, corner wear and moderate creasing. It has a couple of short scratches to rear of sleeve. Spine is just about legible with moderate wear - the spine is a better than it looks in the photo as i had to use a flash because of lack of daylight. Original swirl inner is fairly clean with a record shop stamp to one side, a couple of tears around centre on one side and edge splits to all 3 sides, 1 of them is lengthy. Poly is still fully attached. Really clean Vertigo swirl labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Nice sounding complete 1st UK pressing. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD. ALL ITEMS (OR COMBINATIONOF ITEMS) SELLING FOR OVER £20 MUST BE SENT SIGNED FOR TO COMPLY WITH PAYPAL POLICIES- ASK ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
