Record Very Good+, Side B Has the 4 Tracks running over 3 Tracks Rat Salad & Fairies Wear Boots  " Not Seperated" Both On One Track.  Cover Very Good, But does not mention Big Bear or Jim Simpson Somewhere in time covers have been changed over, Inner is good no splits a bit of yellowing

Comments: Collectors Item!! A very good+ maybe very good++ original UK pressing with only light hairmarks. No break between "Hand Of Doom" and "Rat Salad". 1st pressings of Paranoid came with two versions of the rare unlaminated cover, and these are genuinely almost impossible to find in anything like decent condition. The Holly Grail Paranoid covers, is unlaminated

Cover

Is very good, spine is not split, there are a few scuffs on the front, and some writing indentations, from some one who was using the cover as something to lean on. inside of cover is very good, but this cover "DOES NOT" mention BIG BEAR or JIM SIMPSON, don't really know why, maybe the person who owned it before changed covers because of damage to the original.

The vinyl.

On initial visual inspection of the playing surface vinyl looks great and still retains its sheen. very light surface marks and scuffs be seen, mainly sleeve removal only, and a couple of light surface scratches nothing that would cause any loud clicks or pops! Although I never heard any clicks  during the playback of this record please allow for the odd isolated static/tick/light surface noise here and there, certainly NOT consistant throughout the audio, no feelable scratches, please remember  that this is a genuine 43 year old vinyl that would have been played on a 43 year old system at some point in it's life

The labels.

The original VERTIGO labels are in great condition!!!! Features the swirl on Side A and the Large swirl logo and track listings on Side B (only earliest press, all rights.... are featured around the label rim "only early press" have this.

Rare Record Price Guide Grading

Mint

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

Fair

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for prop erly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
