Description
Hi there, up for sale is this genuine 1st Australian pressing of Black Sabbath's classic 1970 album, 'Paranoid' on the legendary Vertigo label. Please look though pictures carefully and read descriptions before committing to purchase. Condition as follows:
Cover - VG. The original matte cover is very nice - only compromised by the name 'Trish' written in small, fine lettering on the top right corner, but barely noticeable due to the dark background. You have to look hard to see. Additionally there is some light to moderate edge and corner wear present. The inside of the gatefold has some tape marks present also.
Vinyl - Ex -. Sounds terrific. For those of you that just want a play copy, this is where it really matters. The record plays really solid with very little surface noise, with no skips, jumps or loud pops. There is perhaps a little more prominence in quiet passages of tracks like Planet Caravan, but nothing too distracting. The disc has been washed previously but may benefit even further from an anti-static clean.
Record labels: Ex on side 1 with the colouration of the swirl very vivid and no tears, wrinkles or handwriting.
G on side 2 with some light spot marks and the name 'Trish' inscribed over the white background.
Please note that all records sold will be shipped in custom record mailers with the disc stored separate to the cover for safer handling.
