Description
An original 1st press on the NEMS label from 1976 [Very 1st press was 1970 on Vertigo]. Matrix A1-B1. The deadwax still holds the WWA catalogue number from the previous release in 1973. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original NEMS gatefold cover. Also included is the original white inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minor. All we detected was a touch of light static in a couple of isolated moments. The audio quality is very nice indeed and this a very solid rendition of this Sabbath classic.
Cover (Vg+) In great condition and still looks in decent order. The only vague issue on the cover is that sticker removal mark on the front. Handling wear is reasonably light and there are no other issues front and back. There is edge wear, but it is reasonably light. The text on the spine is still mostly readable. The interior is pretty much immaculate. Overall the cover retains great rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) No splits, just a couple of marks.
