ORIGINAL COPY. FIRST UK PRESSING. Released 1970. Stereo. Vertigo Records, catalogue number; 6360 011, Matrix numbers; 6360 011 1Y/2Y //2.

Best copy I've ever had. Brillant sleeve, complete with spiral inner. Very early first press (check the matrix) with larger swirl on side 2 label.

This LP formed part of a superbly preserved collection. Bought new at the time of release, the former owner (a librarian, really) was fanatical about looking after his vinyl and this record was only occasionally played on a Linn deck. Gatefold outer cover: Laminated outer cover. Original company Spiral inner sleeve, slightly crumpled. The laminate sleeve is glossy, with bright, unfaded colours. Beautiful.

Gatefold inner cover: Perfect bar owners name written small and neatly in top right hand corner.

Edges: No rubs, no scuffs, no seam splits.

Corners: No rubs, no bends.

Opening Slit: No scuffs, no rubs, no tears.

This cover has been kept in stunning condition by the previous owner.

Vinyl Condition, Visual:  MINT.

One very very light circular `wipe' mark, otherwise does not look worn or seem to have had any play, kept in the original polylined inner sleeve.

Vinyl Condition, Audible: MINT.

Plays superbly. Well preserved and cared for, no decrease from the original sound quality. Kept in stunning condition by the previous owner. No skips, no jumps, no sign of heavy play, no wear.

Label Condition :  MINT.

Spiral label. Large swirl logo above the centre hole on side 2 authenticates this as a very early copy.

UK Record Collector Grading System:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (US version of this term: Near Mint): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (US version of this term: VG++): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (US version of this term: VG): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits etc.
