Black Sabbath
Paranoid
WWA 1973

Black Sabbath moved from Vertigo to WWA in 1973 for the release of their fifth album, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. The previous four albums were released by the label and are now collectable in their own right, particularly as - instead of repressing - the Vertigo matrix codes were crossed through and new ones etched on with new labels added. Some of the WWA pressings exist in the original Vertigo sleeves with a small sticker showing the new catalogue number. In the case of this album, the laminated sleeve was reprinted with the new logo and with white text on the spine. Aside from this it is very similar to the final iteration of the Vertigo sleeve, being a laminated gatefold with the iconic band photo inside the gatefold.
Vinyl: Near mint. Superb copy. The only point to note is some misting on Side 1. This doesn't affect the audio and it plays beautifully throughout, appearing barely used. A stunning copy.
Sleeve: Near Mint - vibrant and beautifully preserved, the best I have seen.
Inner/inserts: Inner is plain white as issued.
All round incredibly well preserved copy - see photos.
All components separated for postage/shipping and packed in sturdy, bespoke record mailers
