Description
Black Sabbath Sabbath Bloody Sabbath LP BS 2695 1-2 Press 1973 WB early cut VG+
Artist: Black Sabbath
Title: Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Label: Warner Bros. Records
Catalog Number: BS 2695
Year: 1973
Pressing: U.S. pressing – Burbank “palm tree” Warner Bros. labels
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath marked a pivotal shift for Black Sabbath. Recorded in part at Clearwell Castle, the album shows the band expanding beyond their early doom foundations into more progressive, layered compositions. “A National Acrobat” and “Spiral Architect” demonstrate complex arrangements not present on their first three records.
This BS 2695 copy features early -1-2 lacquer numbers and the Burbank Warner Bros. label design used in the early-to-mid 1970s. Richmond pressings are solid U.S. plant variants and are sought by collectors building complete Warner-era Sabbath runs.
VG+ player vinyl copy of one of Sabbath’s essential Ozzy-era albums.
Matrix / Runout (Deadwax):
• Side 1: BS 2695 40432-1-2 R (circled) T
• Side 2: BS 2695 40433-1-2 T
“R” in a circle indicates a Richmond pressing (PRC Richmond), with “T” marking present in the runout. Early lacquer numbers (-1-2) indicate an early cut.
