Black Sabbath - Vol 4 LP gatefold 1972 Vertigo UK 1st Press
Original UK 1st press vinyl with no made in England text
PLEASE READ MY DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY - THIS ALBUM HAS A FEW ISSUES
CAT NO: 6360 071
PRESSING DETAILS: UK 1st Press (1Y//1 & 2Y//1) Stamped. 'Porky' etched on side A & 'Pecko' etched on Side B.
SLEEVE: (VG) This is the GERMAN 1st press gatefold sleeve has light wear from use and storage. Inside is much cleaner with less wear. Spine has mild scuffing in places and heavy wear to the the corners. The spine text is scuffed but still readable. No splits No writing no stickers.
BOOKLET: (EX) The four page booklet has come unstuck but is still in great condition .
INNER SLEEVE: (EX) Replacement paper polylined inner.
RECORD LABELS: (EX) No writing and no stickers. A few spindle marks to both sides (more on Side B) when angled under bright light. Closer to EX+.
VINYL CONDITION VISUALLY: (EX+) Vinyl is flat and very glossy with a few light hairlines and paper scuffs to both sides only visible when angled under bright light. Played a few times when released and stored ever since so a little dusty in places.
Strict grading using Record Collector grading system. All records are sent in correct record mailers or cruciform box with cardboard stiffeners and the vinyl removed for the the original inner and put in a new polylined inner sleeve outside of the cover to make sure no splits happen during delivery. All vinyl is sent tracked and signed for.
RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING
All records are graded using the Record Collector Grading System with (+) or (-) to show a slightly higher or lower grade.
M (Mint) : The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EX (Excellent): The Record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VG (Very Good) : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
G (Good) : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
F (Fair) : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
