Black Sabbath - Vol. 4
(WWA 009 UK LP 1972)
This is a UK original "WWA" LP pressing, circa 1973. It has a matt gatefold sleeve which has a 4 page Booklet stuck in the inner gatefold. It comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve. The record has 1st press 1Y#-2/ 2Y#-2 matrix stampers.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some light or mild rubbing wear to the bottom edge in some places. There is some light or very mild rubbing wear to the sleeve opening & corner tips. The Booklet is in Excellent condition. Overall, the sleeve grades NEAR EX condition
Vinyl: There is a pressing blob/ mark that is mainly on the last track on Side 2. It also affects, to a lesser extent, the same area on Side 1. It causes some light or mild intermittent clicks on the last track on Side 2. It lasts for approx 30 seconds. Otherwise, there are some light sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, & two other small & light hairline marks. VG+ condition. The labels are in Very Near EX condition & show light spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light to mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. apart from the aforementioned light or mild clicks on Side 2, It plays VG++ to Near Excellent overall & Excellent in some places. There is some light or very light crackle in a few quieter places.
