Description
At the mountains of madness
Rare Original 1st Press OZ LP released in 1971 on Infinity Records. Cat: SINL934159 with textured cover.
The songs mix that heavy progressive sound with psych inflected guitar, making them some of the finest examples of the genre. Highlights include the airy, seductive Seasons of Change (a classic single, featuring the late, great Bon Scott on recorder), the thunderous Zeppelin-styled Long Legged Lovely and the Clapton-esque On this Day that I Die.
Tracks: At the mountains of madness/ On this day that I die/ Seasons of change part 1/ Mangos theme part 2/ Long legged lovely/ The rat (suite) - Main title (the rat) - The trad - Spanish blues - Blazwaorden (Land of dreams) - Finale (The rat).Record – has only been played a couple of dozen times. Excellent condition. No scratches, just a couple of scuffs that don't affect play.
Cover – No tears splits or anything – tiny water mark on bottom left corner of rear. Overall excellent.
Labels – Excellent.
It would be hard to find this record in better condition.
