Description

For sale is Blade Runner, performed by The New American Orchestra, an orchestral adaption of music composed for the motion picture by Vangelis, originally released in 1982 by Full Moon Records, a division of Warner Brothers Records. In the dead wax between the last tracks and the labels is etched "K Disc" and "SP", followed by the matrix numbers SR-3/SR-3, indicating that the record was mastered at K-Disk Studios of Hollywood, California and pressed at Specialty Records Corporation in Olyphant, Pennsylvania with early stampers. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers, for their superior sound quality. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine, then immediately put it away into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original insert(s) or inner sleeve(s) that may have come with the record. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The Vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint. I'm play grading at Near Mint with one random pop on Side Two. The cover is graded as Excellent because of a crease along the top and stress cracks along the spine. The spine is Near Mint. I have never seen or heard a better copy of this record and you would be hard pressed to find this rare soundtrack in this condition ever again. I have more Soundtrack albums, as well as  records of different all genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint.  Thank you for viewing my listing.    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
