Blancmange's "The Blanc Tapes" is a highly sought-after vinyl LP box set that includes three albums. This limited edition and remastered compilation features all unplayed records and comes in a sleek black colour. The cardboard sleeve case type and 12" record size make for a classic vinyl experience. The outer box does show small signs of storage. A little creased on one edge and on the spine. In all honesty it’s not the best designed box! It’s not rigid. However the vinyl sleeves inside and the vinyl itself is made of very good quality material.
The box set falls under the pop and rock genres with a singer-songwriter and art rock style. The compilation includes stereo audio channels and is made of high-quality 180-220 gram vinyl material. Released by London Records in 2019, this collector's edition is a must-have for any vinyl enthusiast.
It includes remixes, demos and b sides. Just one beautiful set that showcases the writing talents of a very underrated artist in Neil Arthur.
