Blodwyn Pig - Ahead Rings Out - Island ILPS-9101 stereo 1969

After Mick Abrahams jumped out of Jethro Tull, his group Blodwyn Pig is a sort of a blues/jazz/rock combination and sounding like no other! Abrahams beatiful and metallic Gibson SG together with solid rock base (Ron Berg, Andy Pyle) plus a heavy brass section by Jack Lancaster. A great LP!

Sleeve and disc is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition, the unlaminated sleeve has light wear only; mainly at corners, seams & edges. Disc looks great and clean to the eye, strong light suggests some marking and bagrash which have no affect on playing. Plays simply perfectly and NEAR MINT. Pressed on the Island's rarest label 'block' label which existed only a very short time.
