The Blues Image - Ride Captain Ride (1977, Illusion Records) Sealed, 1st Press

Let me start by saying, I'm not 100% sure exactly what this is.  Here's what I know.  This is a standard 12" record with a label denoting it as a Columbia Records test pressing.  The music on here is Blondie's 1978 album Parallel Lines.  As you may know, that record was released on Chrysalis records, not Columbia.  

I've listened through and the whole album is here.  It has the 3:40 version of Heart of Glass as opposed to the longer "Disco" version that was released on later pressings of the album. There is a note on the label reading "#4 Heart of Glass" perhaps the change of song version has something to do with why this was created.

There are also spiral lines drawn on the labels.  Was this by a kid? Was it to show the record was turning? Again, not sure.

Condition-wise, this is on pretty thin vinyl.  Labels are in good shape (possibly except for writing).  The actual vinyl has some scuffs and scratches.  Plays through, but there is background noise, especially in the quieter parts.  There is no outer sleeve, but I will ship it in a nice anti-static inner sleeve and clear plastic outer sleeve.

This could be a really cool item for a Blondie fan/collector.  Don't miss grabbing this one today!!
