Blondie - Parallel Lines

(Chrysalis PCDL 1192 USA Picture Disc LP 1978)


This is a USA original Picture Disc LP pressing. It has a heavyweight matt sleeve which has a large die-cut circular area on the front. This is to highlight the picture disc. It comes with its original plain card backing insert. It has is original polythene inner sleeve. The picture disc is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press matrices. A genuine USA 1st pressing of this rare & collectible picture disc.


Sleeve: There is some light, mild or very mild rippling, or warping, at the front sleeve opening & top left corner tip area. There is a very small 0.7 cm scratch mark at the front sleeve opening - near the top. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear. The spine is in fantastic condition & shows next to no wear. The plain card backing insert is in wonderful condition. Overall, the sleeve grades in Very Good+ condition

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There is one very light "V" shaped hairline mark on Side 1. There are 4 light hairline marks on Side 2. One is quite long and measures 7 cm. The other 3 measure from 1 cm to 4 cm in length. Overall, Very Good condition. The polythene inner sleeve is in Very Good condition. There is a 15 cm seam split at one side. There is some light, mild or more moderate ringwear & creasing.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall & Near Excellent in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are a couple of light clicks between two separate tracks on Side 1. Overall, a reasonable audio copy.
