Original Master Recording 1-050, 1981 Analog Original series of MFSL releases. Thin, very high quality vinyl pressed in Japan. Not 45 rpm, not a double album, not 150, 180 or 200 gram. Pre-digital MOFi era.

Not Collector quality due to the cover.

Cover and materials: See photos. Cover has some wear, with a wear ring from the vinyl  beginning to show.warping, Outside edge is worn and top right corner dented and splitting. Protective insert shows overall age discoloration. Original lyric sheet very nice aside from one dog-ear. Original sleeve has some wrinkling. Replacement inner sleeve very recent. Yellow reply form in great shape.

Labels: Intact and near perfect except LAST sticker on side 1. 

Vinyl: Very glossy with no obvious scratches or other issues under overhead room light. I do not sell vinyl with skips, jumps, extensive groove damage or significant warps. 

Note: All vinyl evaluations are subjective- below is how it sounds to me on a dialed in VPI Prime with 3D printed tonearm and Soundsmith Zephyr MK III cartridge (contact line diamond stylus). Sitting position is in equilateral triangle with the speakers. You may hear the album differently than I based on your equipment and ears. I  am attempting to be very clear with the condition of the record as I hear it; please do not nit-pick and say “You missed two clicks” or other issues. If there are serious issues- please let me know.

Side 1: Overall, very clean for the age. A tiny touch of noise in the lead-in but it is quiet as the first song starts. A single light pop each in first two songs. A little ticking between 2 and 3. Louder tick in intro to song 4. A very brief light bit of crackle as male vocal at beginning of “I Know but I Don’t  Know” begins. Just a touch of noise in the run-out

Side 2: Overall, very clean for the age. A tiny touch of noise in the lead-in but it is quiet as the first song starts. Just a little tiny bit of very, very faint crackle and one gentle tick in “Sunday Girl”. “Heart of Glass” is very, very clean.

A great playing album that I hope will find a new home.

Price is set at the minimum I will accept with no reserve. I think it is very reasonable and takes the  condition into account. 

I ship for the exact shipping charge. Album will be cleaned and well packed in protective sleeves with album not inserted in jacket. If there is extra room in the box it will be taken up with bubble wrap or additional cardboard.
