Description
One of only two 12" 45s released on Greensleeves' Dub Master Black label, this disc features four dubs cut at Treasure Isle in 1979, featuring drummers Horsemouth Wallace and Albert Malawi, bassmen Junior Dan and Robbie Shakespeare, "Chinna" Smith on lead guitar, keyboards from Augustus Pablo, Bobby Kalphat and "Touter" Harvey, plus a horn section of Vin Gordon, Herman Marquis and Bobby Ellis. It was mixed by Philip Tuffy Robinson and produced by Clayton Downie. It wasn't pressed in huge numbers and rather disappeared at the time, which is surprising as the four tracks are all pretty solid dub pieces, superbly mixed, and beautifully pressed. This copy is in virtually mint condition, in a pristine original sleeve, and should give a collector hours of pleasure. These tracks are "This Foundation" and "Elders and Deacons"
