2015 Friday Music RTI pressing US import


From my own collection, totally as new however....


Vinyl - as the Friday Music issues come in all shapes of shrink wraps this one is a resealable type i figured it would be interesting to know more as well as inspect the LP.  It doesnt indicate on Dcogs but this is cut by Ron McMaster and pressed by RTI.  The pressing is of high quality as per usual from RTI.  I also thought it would be interesting to triple wash the LP in my new Degritter and compare to a washed 2008 Pure Pleasure reissue.  I expected the PP to crush this one mastering wise but theres little in it to warrant complaint here and they are as near as makes no difference on my old Pioneer Shure setup.  Both are quietly pressed, both are well mastered.  It helps the production on this LP was just so effective and imo brilliant.  Thus, being deep cleaned 3 times over in the most effective way and only played once this is arguably better than New/Sealed.  I just cant justify keeping it when ive so much mkre collecting to do!


Jacket - gatefold original still in shrink as mentioned, better quality than the Pure Pleasure reissue, slightly thicker card and better/clearer artwork.  Totally flawless and as new.  Inner sleeve the standard poly RTI jobby.
