This is a spectacular hard rock record by a band of metal misfits including John Sykes, Carmen Appice, and Tony Franklin. Others flitted in and out of the group between 1987 and this album's creation two years later, but the search for a vocalist failed and Sykes took on the role reluctantly – yet successfully – and Bob Rock produced a he|| of a recording in Vancouver when the artists gathered.
The vox will have you singing at work and catching strange glances. The bass and drums demand a swift tweak clockwise on the low-end EQ knobs, and there's no mystery why when you peruse the liner notes: Jaco Pastorius is thanked right there.
The vinyl is amazing, no visible defects, no disruption in the playback. Labels are neat and clean, and the sound soars with no background noise or skips.
The inner lyric sleeve is present. It's perfectly flat with its only weak area just inside where the jacket has crate rub. Not enough to split it. (See the pics.)
The jacket is its weakness: it has crate rub on the upper part of the spine and mild wear in small spots. No splits, sticker residue or pen marks though. Check the pics, there's great eye appeal to the front and back—no ring-wear. This would be a good display jacket, so I'll include poly-lined antistatic sleeve along and a new, crystal clear 3-mil outer sleeve. You'll be set with proper record storage for this banger, just slip a paperboard spacer in.
Seriously, parts of this record your neighbors are going to have to get used to.

Thanks for checking out this listing. I picked up a small metal collection and almost all are pristine. Blue Murder happens to be the exception.
