1952-53 sessions with Jackie McLean, Jay Jay Johnson, Jimmy Heath, Gil Coggins, Percy Heath, Oscar Pettiford, Art Blakey and Kenny Clarke
Original issue, 767 Lexington Ave NYC address on labels and cover, deep groove, flat edge, Mono
Deadwax A-side: etched "BN-LP-1501-A" with etched "RVG" and ear-shaped (Plastylite) mark plus "9" and "M"; B-side etched "BN-LP-1501-B" with etched "RVG" and Plastylite ear mark plus "9" and "M".
CONDITION:
Vinyl: VG++
Clean vinyl with good gloss. Vinyl looks like it was not played more than a few times. Quiet pressing. No warping.
Cover: VG++
Almost NM. No seam splits. Seams are tight. No pen marks. Very light soiling to the front cover that could be removed (I'm not a professional restorer so I won't do it). Cover is glossy with good color.
