Description
Blue Note 5012, “Howard McGhee” with Brew Moore, Kenny Drew, Jay Jay Johnson, Curly Russell, Fats Navarro, and Max Roach; from 1953. Original 10” DG vinyl plays at VG+ with a small amount of background sound. The jacket is solid all around with medium seamwear on the bottom seam; the other seams have minor wear. There is light wear on three corners; the jacket back is age-toned; there are no bends, writing, or stamps. Numbers are “Meciendo”, “I’ll Remember April”, “Lo-Flame”, “Fuguetta”, “Fluid Drive”, “Donnellon Square”, “”Boperation”, and “The Skunk”. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $20.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $12.00 extra. Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket. More than two LPs may be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
