Description

Up for sale is a lot of 3 LPs by Lou Donaldson.

You get,

1) LD+3 Lou Donaldson with the 3 sounds, 2LPs 45RPM reissue

I have noticed haze marks on sides 3 and 4. I put the record through my DeGriter Mark II twice to clean it and I played it through. It does not skip.

Still, I can see how some people would not be happy about the haze marks so I’m lowering the price of this lot.

2) Blues Walk

3) Lou Takes Off

All are in very good condition. I probably played them once or twice. I bought the 45RPM reissue new.

Please see my other auctions for other jazz albums.

AI says,

The Blue Note 84012 Lou Donaldson LD + 3 2 LPs set features four jazz artists - Donaldson, Harris, Simpkins, and Dowdy - coming together to create the album "With The Three Sounds." Released in 1959 on the Blue Note / Music Matters label, this collector's edition double LP is pressed on 180 gram vinyl and plays at 45 RPM. The gray-colored record showcases the talents of these jazz legends, making it a must-have for any jazz enthusiast looking to add a classic album to their collection from the United States.
