Description
I Am Not A Put Your Foot Down Record Collecter Nor can I Make Heads Or Tails Out Of Goldmines Condition Standards When I Surf Through All The LP Listings On Ebay. I will Just Give You An Honest Description In My Own Words With Field Experience In Other Collectable Items.
For Your Consideration A Real Toughie! Blue Note BLP 1596, Kenny Burrell's Blue Lights Vol.1 In Mono. This Is The Deep Groove, 47 West 63rd, NYC Label And Jacket, The Stamped RVG With Ear And Scratched In By Hand BN-LP1596-A Or B Depending The Side And 9M Closer To The Paper Label. To Top It Off Andy Warhol Is The Cover Artist!
Now For Condition. The Jacket Is Still Vibrant With No Real Stains Or Scratches. The Back Shows Only Very Minor Scuffing Or Marking And Has Lost Some Of It's Initial Bright White. The Side Binding Has An App 1.5" Chip/Flaked Line With The Color Paper Missing But Is Not Through The Cardboard. On Bottom App 3" Split rom Opening Side Back And The Top Has App 2" Split As Well, Please See Pics. The Paper Sleeve Was Torn And Has Been Taped Together From Inside, Again See Pics. The LP Has Light Scuffing And Light Scratches, None Of These Look Deep Enough To Skip When Played But I Am Sure They Would Make Some Noise When Played. The Labels Are Both Bright And Unmarked And Have The Look Of A Cared For And Not Abused Album. I Am Sorry But I Have No Player To Check Myself But I Am Sure You More Serious Collecters Can Accurately Guess The Condition By The Pics Included. Any Questions Please Ask.
