Description
This is a blues 78 by Charlie Patton vocal with guitar on Vocalion records # 14757. The songs are "Poor Me / 34 blues" This was recorded on February 1 1934 in N.Y. BEFORE BIDDING READ MY DISCRIPTION CAREFULLY. The record still has some shine to it. There is a tight crack from the outer edge to the label as well as a rim chip on the 34 blues side. The rim chip effects about the first three grooves, the record plays all the way through without any clicks or problems. The label is worn but very readable, check the pictures. The voice and guitar are much louder then the surface noise. I would grade it as a vg- but I feel it plays much better. Patton records very seldom turn up at any price. I will refund purchase price if buyer feels I have not discribed the record correctly. Check my feedback. Shipping is 7.50 in the U.S.
