Description

For Auction,  Blues LP, Lil' Son Jackson,  Arhoolie LP 1004, in E+++ shape. Amazing example of this 55 year old LP.  The LP and cover are in store stock condition. The LP looks like it has never been played. I bought this LP in the l980's, from a big collection of near mint, original label, Blues LP's, many from the Arhoollie Label. The cover is like new, with no seam splits, shiny, and clean as can be. I don't think you will ever find a better cover for this LP.  I need to emphasize this is an original press, as it has a original typewritten liner note from Chris Strachwitz of Arhoolie.  Even the liner note looks near mint. LIl' Son Jackson recorded some great 78's during the 40's, and 50's, on Gold Star, and Imperial. The LP was recorded in 1960, and shows him in his day job as a mechanic. Hopefully, my pictures will give you an idea of the Amazing Condition of the Cover, LP, and liner notes.  I will ship this LP so it gets to you safely.  Please check my listings for more great records, including White Label Promotional LP's on the Chess Label from John Lee Hooker, and Big Bill Broonzy, and a White Label Promo LP from T-Bone Walker.
