Description
Sorry about the dark scan. I don't know what happened. This is a rare vinyl private pressing of Maybe I'll Cry by Mama Estella Yancey from 1983. This frail looking little old lady really had it. She made a couple of l.p.'s back in the 1940's I believe & then nothing until 1983. This l.p. was worth the wait ! I found this in a little old record shop down on Cottage Grove in Chicago. Not many people venture down there. The shop owner says it's a heavy crime area. I'm wondering how many more surprises that I'm going to find there. It's going to take about a week to go through everything. This is easily worth the price of admission at $24.95. Unfortunately Mama Yancey is now deceased. At least she got to see her record made. Cover has a cut corner & 2 small tears on back. There is also 3 small pieces of clear tape across the jacket opening. I'd say vg+. The best part is that the vinyl is visually near mint. Looking at the spindle hole it doesn't appear that this l.p. has even been played.
( I ship on Saturdays. If you pay me after 1:30 p.m. on a Saturday, your l.p. will not be shipped until the next Saturday.)
Leave me feedback and I will return the courtesy. Delivery confirmation is a must and is worked into the cost of shipping. I accept Paypal only. Gold, precious stones and your first born can be negotiated. If paying by Paypal, payment is expected within 3 days unless other arrangements are made. Insurance will be provided upon request and is to be paid for by the customer. My overseas customers are very important to me and have given me a lot of support. However, I cannot be responsible for uninsured packages. I do pack well and in a professional manner with standard record mailers. I also place a cardboard support inside the mailer for protection and to help prevent any bending. Records are removed from their covers and both are placed in a protective, clear plastic outer sleeve. It's a tried and true method that has never been improved upon. I do offer refunds if the item you won is not as described. I ship every Saturday.
