On offer is a excellent pressing of 'Blues Southside Chicago', released in the UK in 1966 on the red Decca label. This is a very rare album and features some really good recordings by a variety of great Chicago blues artistes (just look at the pics) who were in turn backed by a selection of superb musicians inc Clifton James, Buddy Guy, Willie Mabon and others. The session itself was recorded by great Willie Dixon. It comes from our own blues collection and has been rarely played and well cared for.
The vinyl is graded Excellent and is very clean, there are a few spindle marks showing it has been played a hanful of times but no marks, scratches or defects at all - superb example.
The fragile Decca style front laminated non- flipback sleeve is Excellent, bright and clean, light lamination lifting at spine edge. The reverse is clean and very nice, original price written very small top left in red . The spine is clean with a few creases owing to the thin structure and card used for Decca pressings and all text is clearly visable.
Red Decca Mono Labels are Excellent with some light spindle marks.
Original Emitex poly-lined inner sleeve is Excellent.
