Description
This is Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Bo Diddley singing his self-titled album "Bo Diddley" on Checker 2984 from 1962. This mono record looks VG++ with minor surface markings but plays in MINT condition with no audio defects noted during the testing of this record. The Jacket is in NM condition. This item comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve. Most of the first pressings were on black labels, but Checker also used the maroon label at certain pressing plants. Either one is considered a first pressing. Price guides suggest a valuation of $150 to $200 for a NM copy. You can own this beautiful copy for half that valuation. Also included with this album is a 4-page magazine article on Bo including a selected discography.
