Description

Up for bid is an original 1960 copy of Bo Diddley's classic album "In The Spotlight." Checker LP-2976.  The vinyl exhibits many light surface marks, that do not adversely impact the sound.  The record has nice shine and clean labels.  This LP sounds GREAT, and plays through with absolutely no loud pops or skips.  There are occasional 'ticks' and intermittent background crackles throughout; Mostly evident during quiet gaps between songs.  Great deep groove mono sound and a very nice listening experience overall.

Vinyl grade: VG


As you can see, the cover is in nice shape.  The front is essentially perfect, but the back cover shows discoloration (a common feature of early chess/checker covers due to an acid in the paper).  There is some light edge wear, but no seam splits.  Clean, legible spine.
