Description

If you’re unfamiliar with the music found on these 4 LPs I would respectfully suggest a quick look online to get an idea of the TRUE GEMS included within. This is Bob Dylan recording some very early demos at the start of a career that went to the stars and you are there with him. Honest and true recordings that speak volumes. Some songs heard for the very first time in the proper format. Important music historically and not those demos that sound like they had to be sonically rebuilt, more natural and true.

A real treasure trove of early Dylan that is considered essential listening in many reviews (I agree for what it’s worth).

Condition wise the (4) 180gram records are dead mint. A nice touch is the use of labels that reflect the proper time period of these recordings being labels used on recording blanks and demos of the day.

The included thick booklet and outer box are also perfect. The only issue is the wear at the top of the record outer sleeves/covers. Columbia Records gets the blame for shipping the records in jackets that were susceptible to top wear. Both sets I have show the same wear in the same areas so I’ll assume this is a common result of their shipping practices in regards to this set but as stated above, everything is mint with no wear caused by storage or play (please observe the provided photos for your condition concerns). A top issue from the Dylan Bootleg Series, maybe the best.

Selling a big part of my personal collection accrued over 5 decades. Will be listing a few auctions a week. Many very rare BEATLES and related items among other artists. Please check in from time to time and see what Rarities and odd pressing I’ve had time to list from this extensive collection.
