Description
Up for sale is by far the rarest record I’ve ever held in my hands. It is an original acetate from 1963 of Bob Dylan‘s recording of lay down your weary tune. This was recorded on October 12, 1963 during the sessions for the times they are a-changin but was left off of the album. This 8” vinyl acetate was produced as a take-home for Bob, the producer or someone from the record label to listen to. A remixed and remastered version of this take was eventually released on the Bob Dylan compilation side tracks. The record itself is scratched and scuffed, but absolutely still plays! As you can see in the photos, the jacket is torn, but luckily, still covers the record. Offered with no reserve and will be shipped priority mail.
