Bob Dylan : An English Fans Scrapbook is a large format A4 sized soft back book. It has 284 pages and contains 495 Pictures, Newspaper Articles, Magazine Clips, Ticket Stubs, Concert Reviews, Dylan Conventions and many other rare items.
In the U.K. I will post out free of charge saving you £2.90.
It also has 63,900 words which tell you the story of how Bob Dylan has been treated by the press and media in the U.K. over the last 50 years plus detailing his various releases and other items of interest worldwide. I have kept everything relating to Bob since 1963, this book will show fans who maybe came upon Dylan later in life and they can look back on the years before they were born.
The book has the story of listening, watching and collecting anything that related to Bob Dylan. It shows what Dylan did in the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and into the 21st century.
This book is written for fans by a fan, I don’t try to explain what Dylan meant by this or that song, I just listen and appreciate everything he has done.
There have been great concerts, good concerts and some poor concerts but as a fan I am glad I went to them all. I have written the book in ‘Diary Style’ going from day to day month to month and year to year explaining where Dylan was, what he was doing and how the press and media covered it. Response to his albums and paintings and anything else that Bob did in the 53 years from 1963 to 2016.
I finished the book in June 2016 after going over to New York in May 2016 to celebrate Bob’s 75th Birthday in the old Gerdes Folk City Nightclub, where a special Tribute to Bob Dylan was organised by the grandson of the former owner Mike Porco. I met many Dylan fans and artists who played with Bob in the early 1960’s. I included the photo’s and the tale of what it was like being there on this very special occasion. It was the best way to end the book.
All I can say is that I am a Dylan fan, I love what Bob has done throughout his career and the book has been written with love and respect for him.

Just to let you know that I have enjoyed your book very much indeed. I have many Dylan books, some I buy just for the sake of it and they remain unread or partially read for years, yours on the other hand is such an easy and pleasantly written book that I did not put it down once and read it all the way through in one go. It makes a change to read a Bob book that is not overfull of facts and is not just about the authors personal opinions, such as Heylin and such like. I have recommended your book to a few Dylan friends and have sent details to the 'Desolation Row Information Service' and that will be mailed out to lots of Dylanites.
