This NEAR MINT 1st UK STEREO pressing of his 4th studio is on the textured orange & black CBS label: SBPG 62429
Interestingly, this copy has mis-matched labels:
The side 1 label has 'P 1964' and a CBS matrix 'SBPG 62429 A', whilst the side 2 label bears a 'Recording First Published..' text and Philips matrix 'SBPG 62429 2Y'
Both labels have the earliest '33' speed indicator, later changed to '33 1/3'.
Matrix numbers: SBPG 62429 A2 & SBPG 62429-B-1
Vinyl weight: 133g
Housed within front laminated, tri-flipback cover with red 'STEREO' indicator on the rear panel.
Complete with original orange CBS advertising inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: NEAR MINT
An immaculate disc which shows no signs of having been played. There are two light spindle trails on the side 2 label, but this was probably from stacking in the factory. Both playing surfaces are immaculate and the sound quality is flawless.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A fine unblemished example which retains a clean, high-gloss front panel laminate showing a couple of small spine wrinkles only. The rear is clean & unmarked with just the ghost of a sticker beneath the 'stereo' indicator. Both seams and the spine are fully intact and undamaged.
