UK CBS SBPG 62193 Stereo
Rare large <---STEREO---> logo on front and rear cover.
These Stereo copies were made in tiny amounts in the early 60s when Mono
was king.
The heavy stock front laminated flipback cover is in superb condition with a
mirror like sheen to the laminate. Two tiny creases to the opening edge
The corners are square and sharp.
The rear is white, clean and unmarked with perfect flipbacks.
No cover manufacturers credits on the rear.
I would grade this in full EX condition.
The vinyl is also in great condition with full gloss shine and no scratches.
Just a few light paper marks from removing from inner sleeve.
The matrix numbers are SBPG 62193-1A-1 / SBPG 62193-2B-1
The labels are early rough textured with large 33 speed.
The labels are clean and unmarked with a few light spindle marks.
The vinyl plays with a bit of very light crackle on the run in which soon quietens down
and I have honestly yet to find a copy that does'nt
I would grade the vinyl in at least full excellent condition.
Altogether a superb copy of this rare early press that hardly ever turns up in this condition.
Extremely well cared for nearly 50 years old.
