This week we're lucky to be able to offer a number of extremely rare Dylan related items, including two distinct two sided 10" acetates of Like A Rolling Stone, arguably Dylan's best known composition.

The rarity and historical importance of these items is impossible to overstate. We will do our best to describe their condition in full. 

This listing is for the second of these acetates, which contains the entire 6:00 runtime of 'Like A Rolling Stone' on its A side, and 'Gates of Eden' from Dylan's LP 'Bringing it all Back Home' on its B side, an arrangement that anticipates that which appeared on the official 7" release of 'Like A Rolling Stone' under Columbia catalog # 4-43346.
This acetate has no labels. The  matrix numbers 2SP 110938 and 2SP 110937 are written in what appears to be white wax pencil on the A and B sides of the disc respectively, along with the song titles and artist name. High resolution photos of these label areas can be seen below.

This disc comes housed in a generic manilla 10" sleeve. It is visually VG-/VG, more details on the disc's condition can be found below.

Disc grade, note: VG-/VG, play surfaces bear a number of light scratches and marks, the A side - Like A Rolling Stone - also displays a very small number of deeper scratches and is visually VG-, the B side - Gates of Eden - is a solid VG, generic new 10" manilla sleeve.




All discs are cleaned and conservatively graded as follows:NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, and G.
